ABOUT ME

I think everyone has a story to share, and I want to tell you mine. It's called "The Locksmith Who Became a Sorcerer." My name is Martin Larsson, and I was born in Stockholm, Sweden in the late 80s. I grew up learning about teamwork through sports, especially floorball, and had some great achievements in the sport. Despite facing challenges due to my height as a locksmith, I used my experiences to become a security consultant and designer, working on projects for various organizations. As my career progressed, I delved into digital projects and started developing tools for Building Information Modeling. It was during this time that I realized the power of gaming and the creative minds behind them.

That's when I decided I wanted to work in the game industry.

Seeking to further explore and nourish my creative side, I deliberately chose to embark on a path of studying level design, a decision I can confidently label as one of the most enriching and fulfilling choices I've ever made. The sheer thrill of conjuring up intricate worlds straight from the depths of my imagination makes me feel like a sorcerer weaving spells of wonder. Drawing from my profound passion for creativity and my adeptness in project management, coupled with the invaluable knowledge gleaned from both my academic pursuits and real-world internship experiences, I am imbued with the conviction that I am well-equipped to be a strong candidate in this field.

Undeniably, I firmly believe that with unwavering faith and a deep-seated hope for a brighter and more promising world, the realm of possibilities becomes boundless.

As a person, I believe in the power of positive energy and teamwork. I'm believe in the potential of dreams. I've developed skills in level design at TGA, working with software like Unreal Engine, Unity, and Maya. I've worked on 8 collaborative games and over 15 personal projects, gaining a deep understanding of level design. I particularly enjoy planning, prototyping gameplay elements, and creating level structures.

In my spare time, I like to socialize, watch football matches, and spend time outdoors. I also enjoy playing shooting and puzzle games and watching Netflix, YouTube, and other streams.

As long as there is hope, there is opportunity
